Andy has served the County and District Republican Party continuously since 2003, when he first became a member of the Haralson County Republican Party. Since that time he has served numerous times as local, district, and state delegate to the Republican Conventions, as well as Sargent at Arms, District committee member and 1st Vice President of the Haralson County GOP. Through the years, he has authored several resolutions for submission to the local and district conventions. He has actively campaigned and fund raised at the grassroots level for numerous Republican candidates through the years. Andy's wife, Victoria has also actively served the Republican party as President of the Haralson County Republican Women.
